About
Who's behind this
I trained as a Fachinformatiker für Anwendungsentwicklung in Hamburg — a German apprenticeship in software development — and worked at binaroo technologies building and maintaining Shopware storefronts: fixing bugs in live production shops, running user tests, and documenting design decisions for the team.
Since then I've worked my way out of the browser. This site runs on a FastAPI backend with PostgreSQL and pgvector, containerized with Docker and shipped through a CI/CD pipeline. I built it AI-assisted — the architecture, review and debugging are mine, much of the code came out of a dialogue with a language model. I think that's how software gets written now, and I work that way deliberately.
I've also built an online ordering and reservation system for a restaurant, wired into their existing point-of-sale setup. I like knowing how a system holds together end to end — not just the part you can see.
